Park Location – Located adjacent to State Highway 228 at the Community of Crawfordsville.

About the Park

When the covered bridge needed replacing, the State Highway Department (now the Transportation Department) bypassed the bridge at the request of local residents. On October 10, 1963 the Highway Department transferred ownership of the bridge to Linn County. In 1990, the Crawfordsville Missionary Alliance Church Youth Group in conjunction with the Robinett Family donated approximately 1/10 of an acre at the SW corner of the bridge to provide an area for picnicking.
