Campground: The campground and boat ramp will close as of September 24, 2012
Reservations: All reservations can be made up to a year in advance, but no later than four days prior to your desired arrival date.
Day use: boat ramp, hiking trails, picnic and swimming areas.

This 328-acre rustic County Park is perfect for enjoying spectacular mountain views, bird-watching, sailing, fishing, hiking, camping and water skiing. Bring your jet ski, speed boat or fishing boat and enjoy the beautiful waters of Green Peter Reservoir.
Please note if you are trying to reserve with in 4 days of your arrival the map will show all campsites not available.
Changes to your reservation may incur a $5.00 change fee per site.

The boat ramp facility is located on Green Peter Reservoir and within one mile of the Whitcomb Creek campground. Bring your speed boat, fishing boat or your jet skis and enjoy the beautiful waters of Green Peter Reservoir.
This long ramp and gradual slope allow for easy boat launch and retrieval.
39 individual campsites are offered and available through the online reservation system. Nestled deep within the luxurious forested setting, the campground is located approximately one mile up the peninsula of Green Peter Reservoir. The Whitcomb Creek campground is ready to provide all of your family camping enjoyment.
Whitcomb Creek Count Park offers a group designated camping area which is separate from the individual campground.
The group area holds up to 100 people and has two water faucets and a vault toilet facility. In this lush forested area there are around 25 picnic tables for your family meals. There is plenty of room for families with tents and lots of space to park trailers and motorhomes on the asphalt parking lot.
Group area camping rates: Non-Refundable Reservation fee of $50.00 plus a nightly camping rate of $200.00 per night. There is a two night minimum stay required on weekends and all camping and reservations fee are due at the time of the reservation.
There is also a day-use area within walking distance of the group camping area. Please contact the Linn County Parks Department to reserve the group area (541)967-3917.
Swimming, fishing, sailing or just camping are some of the activities that you can enjoy on the Green Peter Reservoir. Bring your jet ski, speed boat or fishing boat and enjoy the beautiful waters of Green Peter Reservoir. From the campground, it is a quick drive by car or about a 2-mile hike to the reservoir
The Green Peter Reservoir, with its 3,720 acres of water, is the perfect place to go for a swim. Enjoy easy water access as you slip into the cool waters of the lake.
City of Sweet Home is located on the southeastern edge of the beautiful Willamette Valley and lies nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range not far from the scenic Oregon Coast. The Oregon Jamboree located in Sweet Home is the Northwest's Premier Country Music and Camping Festival. The Jamboree offers an intimate concert experience. In addition to featured headline entertainment this family style event hosts RV and tent camping, food booths, beer & wine gardens, and special displays. Founded in 1992, The Jamboree is produced by the nonprofit Sweet Home Economic Development Group. Over 400 festival volunteers contribute their efforts to insure a safe and fun experience for all. Green Peter Reservoir spans over 3720 acres of water
and camping recreation. It is operated by the Corps of Engineers
and is only nine miles up Quartzville Road from the Sunnyside

The Sportsman's Holiday and Sweet Home Rodeo, held in July, this popular event features a professional rodeo, grand parade, buckaroo breakfast, music and dancing, an amusement carnival, and fireworks over Foster Lake. If you enjoy rodeo events like bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing and steer wrestling, the Sweet Home Rodeo has them all. The Linn County Historical Museum is located in historic Brownsville, Oregon. Housed in Brownsville's original railroad depot, the museum holds collections and information representing all of Linn County. The museum also cares for the Moyer House, an elegant home completed in 1881 by pioneering figures of Brownsville.
